Vacation Cabin Rental Stargazing Pet Friendly Fredericksburg Texas

Remote Retreat. Very private except for the wildlife, particularly the variety of birds. Great vista of hills. The house is very functional and comfortable. We appreciated the emphasis on military and first responder service, especially with the recent July 4 and 9/11 events. After several years of trying different homes near Fredericksburg, we have found one to which we want to return.

The cabin and land are wonderful. It's the perfect place to explore and relax. Our dog Jake had a blast smelling all the wildlife scents. My husband enjoyed the hot tub. We definitely want to return for another visit. Highly recommend.

We had a great trip to The Outpost in Fredericksburg Texas!! Beautiful cabin with fantastic amenities. Large well appointed kitchen, living/family room with nice fireplace and lots of games/activities for the kids and adults. Situated on 14 acres of fun trails with a firepit and several outdoor areas to relax and unwind while watching the stars at night. Front and back porch sitting area are great for bird watching. We loved our stay at the cabin this summer. We brought our grandson with us and he had a blast. This is our second trip to the cabin. We previously came to the cabin in December 2024 and enjoyed the cool with our two dogs. It is great to have a destination that welcomes your furry family members.

The Outpost exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we could tell how much thought and care had gone into creating such a comfortable and welcoming space. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and had all the little details that made our stay easy and enjoyable.We especially loved how peaceful and quiet it was. Sitting outside taking in the views in the day and the night sky, was easily the highlight of our trip. It felt like the perfect escape—peaceful and secluded, yet still convenient to town.Communication was excellent, and the hosts were friendly and responsive. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend The Outpost to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
