Because we are grateful for your service to our country, we are extending our job opportunities to veterans and first responders!

I am a Combat Infantryman that served as the Pointman in the Persian Gulf War with DCO 3/7 Infantry, 24th Infantry Division. My wife is also a First Responder and a registered nurse at MD Anderson, Houston, Texas, having served for 20 years now in that capacity. We built a rental cabin near Enchanted Rock in Fredericksburg, Texas, called The Outpost. This cabin is constructed from reclaimed military & first responder buildings and contains hundreds of artifacts that people can touch and explore.

We also recently started up our property management company, STRACT HQ, which stands for Strategically Ready And Combat Tough, serving the Fredericksburg, TX, and surrounding Hill Country area. As a result, we have several full-time contractor opportunities as well as several business opportunities available that we wanted to extend to our fellow veterans and first responders. If you own a company, work for a veteran/first responder-owned company, you are a direct family member, or you would like to be a self-made contractor, then please contact us. We are looking for the following for short-term rental properties.

If you are not a veteran, or a first responder, or a direct family member thereof, then please do not apply:

1. Housekeeping: This would involve regular weekly cleanings both inside and outside various units, including but not limited to linens, mopping, vacuuming, bathrooms, hot tubs, grills, etc.

2. Home Maintenance: This would include various maintenance tasks, to include electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, caulking, inspecting, tightening items, propane tank exchange, repairs, etc.

3. Wine Tours: We are going hot with Mercedez Sprinters and need drivers for our wine tours. Training is included and may expand into other shuttle services. Call the owner and our partner, Jeremy Durfee, at: 707-301-3355.

4. Chefs: If you are a chef, then we need to hook you up!
